Rebels Add Former Seminole Centerback
OXFORD, Miss. โ Ole Miss has added the seventh member to its 2020 signing class, bringing Florida State centerback transfer Taylor Radecki into the fold, announced Thursday by head coach Matt Mott.

"Taylor is a big-time defender who played club soccer for one of the best coaches in the country in Mike Pickett," said Mott. "She then spent this past year as part of one of the nation's premier soccer programs at Florida State. We couldn't be more excited to add her to our squad as an immediate impact player."

Radecki, a sophomore from St. Augustine, Florida, completed her freshman campaign at FSU in 2019, appearing in three matches for the Seminoles. She logged 56 total minutes on the pitch, including 31 minutes against Samford.

Prior to becoming a Seminole, Radecki was a standout at Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns, Florida, helping lead the Bears to a pair of state semifinals. During her career at BTHS, Radecki was named the team's Rookie of the Year before capturing three-consecutive all-conference and all-state laurels. As a senior, the 5-10 centerback garnered All-St. Johns County Player of the year honors and was named First Team All-First Coast. Radecki graduated Magna Cum Laude from BTHS in 2018.

At the club level, Radecki was a four-time national qualifier, capturing three State Cup Championships and a pair of Southern Regional Championships with Florida Elite Soccer Academy. Additionally, Radecki's U16 team was the National League Black Divison Champions. A two-time ODP International Travel Team member, Radecki's squads garnered the ODP Region III Championship in both 2017 and 2018, taking home the ODP National Championship in 2017.

The daughter of Scott and Kara Radecki, the newest Rebel defender is the second cousin of former Ole Miss golfer Dave Peege. Radecki plans to pursue a degree in exercise science.
