Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Ranked Preseason No. 17

All-American Duo Ranked No. 7 in Doubles by ITA
TEMPE, Ariz. – With the announcement of the Oracle/ITA Preseason 2021 Men's Tennis Rankings, the Ole Miss Rebels were awarded the No. 17 team position on Thursday.
To begin the 2021, season the Rebels were awarded a top-25 placement in the Oracle ITA rankings. Ole Miss concluded the 2020 season ranked No. 15. Two seniors, Tim Sandkaulen and Finn Reynolds, were awarded individual rankings as well.
In doubles, 2020 ITA All-Americans Sandkaulen and Reynolds were voted as the No. 7 tandem in the country. The duo concluded the 2020 season ranked No. 17 in the final ITA doubles poll and have received a 10 position increase to begin the new season. Additionally, the two Rebels are the highest ranked doubles duo among all SEC programs. Last season, Sandkaulen and Reynolds were 7-2 in the No. 1 doubles position and compiled a 5-0 record against ranked opponents.
In singles, Sandkaulen was voted as the No. 62 individual athlete. Sandkaulen concluded the 2020 season ranked No. 68. In the fall, Sandkaulen compiled a 5-4 record in singles. Last season, he won four matches in the No. 1 singles position for Ole Miss.
The Rebels concluded the shortened 2020 season at 10-4 (1-2 SEC). No. 17 Ole Miss faces No. 11 Texas A&M at home to begin the 2021 season on Tuesday.
