Montreal Native Becomes Eighth Member of 2021 Signing Class

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss head soccer coach Matt Mott has announced the signing of goalkeeper Alyssa Zalac to the 2021 signing class. Zalac will join the Rebels for the 2021 fall season.
 
Zalac becomes the eighth member of the Rebels' incoming freshmen class, joining Maddie Bishop, Whitaker Buchanan, Amber Fortenberry, Kaitlin Maynard, Ellie McIntyre, Lauren Montgomery and spring enrollee Shea O'Malley.

VANIER COLLEGE: Spent one season at Vanier College in Montreal … Cheetahs did not compere during the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

CLUB/ODP: Played for Lakeshore SC in Kirkland, Quebec, Canada … Was awarded the 2018 LSEQ Golden Glove Award, recognizing the best goalkeeper in Quebec … helped lead Lakeshore SC to provincial championships and national silver medals in both 2018 and 2019.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Lise Purkis and Alexandre Zalac … Born July 15, 2003 … Has two siblings, Sacha and Tatiana.
