Finn Reynolds and Nikola Slavic Advance to ITA All-American Championships Round of 32

Reynolds and John Hallquist Lithén also Advance to Round of 16 in Doubles

TULSA, Okla. – Ole Miss Rebels went three-for-three, earning two singles and one doubles main draw victories at the ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday.
 
In singles, both Finn Reynolds and Nikola Slavic won their Round of 64 matches in straight sets. Reynolds, the No. 4 overall seed in the tournament, defeated lucky loser unranked No. Holden Koons 7-6 (4), 6-3. 2021 All-American Reynolds will next face Kentucky's Joshua Lapadat (also a lucky loser from qualifying) at 10:30 a.m. CT on Thursday. Slavic defeated Denver's James Davis, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the Round of 32. Davis ranks No. 74 in the ITA Preseason Rankings. Slavic will face qualifier ITA No. 99 JJ Tracy from Ohio State at 10:30 a.m. CT tomorrow.
 
In doubles, Reynolds and John Hallqusit Lithén defeated Oregon's ITA No. 55 Ivailo Keremedchiev and Jesper Klov-Nilsson, 6-4, 6-4. Reynolds and Lithén improved to 4-0 at the event across the last three days of competition. The Rebel duo advances to the tournament Round of 16 and next faces Tennessee's Emile Hudd and Shunsuke Mitsui. Hudd and Mitsui received the No. 48 ITA Preseason Doubles Ranking entering the fall season. Nikola Slavic notably defeated Hudd to clinch a 4-3 Ole Miss victory at Oklahoma State last Match (Hudd transferred to Tennessee this season).
