Men’s Tennis Earns 15th ITA All-Academic Team Award

Rebels Receive National Academic Recognition for the 10th Consecutive Year

TEMPE, Ariz. – Ole Miss Men's Tennis earns ITA All-Academic Team honors for the 15th time in program history, and 10th consecutive season. A program high eight individual Rebels have been named as ITA Scholar-Athletes, per release by the ITA office on Monday.
 
Ole Miss men's tennis extends its 15th ITA All-Academic Team award after first accomplishing the achievement in 1997. The Rebels have received the distinction across the past decade, dating back to 2011. The Rebels are among 145 programs to receive the award in 2021. In order to qualify as an ITA All-Academic Team a program must have at least a 3.2 grade point average across the previous academic year.
 
Eight Rebels achieved ITA Scholar-Athlete distinction by earning at least a 3.5 grade point average during the 2020-21 academic year. The Rebels earned their most individual ITA Scholar-Athletes for any one season in 2021, surpassing last season's previous high of seven. 1054 Division I men's tennis student-athletes were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes this season.
