Rebels Recognized for Academic Achievement for 11th Consecutive Year
OXFORD, Miss. โย For the 11th-consecutive year, Ole Miss has been named a recipient of the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, receiving the laurel for the 2020-21ย academic year.
The laurel is bestowed upon all teams across all levels of the NCAA who possess a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher. 8-of-14 SEC programs received the academic award, with Ole Miss' 3.64ย team GPA ranking as the fourth-highest in the league.
The Ole Miss soccer program has been awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award 17ย times since 2000, including 11 of the 12ย years during theย Matt Mottย era.
A total of 608 soccer teams (224 men, 384 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 academic year.
