Rebels Season Opener will not be Played due to COVID-19 within ASU

 OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss men's tennis will not compete versus Alabama State on Sunday due to a combination of COVID-19 cases and contact tracing within the Hornets program.
 
Ole Miss men's tennis' scheduled opening dual of the 2022 spring season for has been canceled. Alabama State will not travel to Oxford for Sunday's doubleheader due to a COVID-19 outbreak among its staff and players. A rescheduled date for the matches has not been solidified at this time.
 
ITA No. 18 Ole Miss will make its season debut next Friday, Jan. 21, at home versus Oklahoma State at 6 p.m. CT. The Rebels defeated the Cowboys last season, 4-3, in Stillwater. The match is scheduled to be played indoors at the William F. Galtney Tennis Center. Masks are required to attend.
