Women’s Tennis Finishes Time in Tuscaloosa

Rebels Highlight Day Two with Doubles Win

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – After the final day of competition, Ole Miss women's tennis will conclude their time at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic.
 
The trio of Rebels in competition completed one single and doubles match during the last day. Doubles duo of Mize/Zadori competed against Tulane's Yelemanchili/Lavery. The Rebels put up a battle against the Golden Wave and came out victorious (7-5).
 
Veteran Rebel, Kelsey Mize, led for Ole Miss in singles, gaining a win against South Alabama's Tereza Dejnozkova.  The senior, who went 1-1 in Friday's singles matches, swept the Jaguar 6-1 in both sets to wrap her time in Tuscaloosa with a win.
 
Reka Zadori faced off against Indiana's Sabhyata Nihalani. The junior Rebel took the first set 6-4, but the Hoosier capitalized the following two sets to clinch the match (4-6, 6-1, 10-3).
 
Ludmila Kareisová competed against East Tennessee State's Fernanda Carvajal but dropped her final match 6-3 in both sets.
 
Ole Miss now looks to the NC State Fall Invite in Cary, North Carolina (Nov. 4-6) to conclude their 2022 fall season.
