FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- John Hallquist Lithen is making some noise at the ITF Future Fayetteville Pro Tournament running from Oct. 30-Nov. 5, as he moves on to the main draw in singles at the Billingsley Tennis Center.

On Monday in the first round of singles, Lithen played Argentina's Franco Ribero to kick off the tournament. After a hard-fought match, Lithen cam out on top winning 6-3, 6-1 advancing him to the second round of the men's qualifying singles round.

The next day, the 10th-seeded, Gothenburg, Sweden, native turned around to play the third-seeded American, Keshav Chorpa. After an impressive matchup, Lithen secured his second victory, 7-5, 6-3. The senior will compete in the first round of the main draw tomorrow morning.

Noah Schlagenhauf also represented the Rebels this week and played Spain's No. 15 seeded Pablo Carretero in the first round of qualifying play. After a hard-fought showing, Schlagenhauf dropped the match, 6-3, 7-5, which marked the end of his 2023 fall season.
