Women’s Golf Opens Clippd Rankings in the Top 10

OXFORD, Miss. – A little less than month after the Ole Miss women's golf team successful 2023 fall season came to an end, the Rebels check in at No. 9 in the first edition of the Clippd Women's Collegiate Team Rankings.
Two Rebels also earned Top 100 individual rankings in the Clippd Women's Collegiate Individual Rankings, with Caitlyn Macnab sitting at No. 11 and Justine Fournand at the No. 70 slot.
The Rebels come off a stellar fall with three top-two finishes and four top-five finishes, including the Cougar Classic title where they crushed the program record for lowest tournament three-round team score at 816 (-36).
Macnab has placed in the top-10 in all four tournaments this fall and notched her second collegiate medalist finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship with a score of 204 (-12). The Johannesburg, South Africa, native also shot an average of 69.08, which leads all golfers in the SEC who have played more than ten rounds.
Ole Miss' other standout transfer, Fournand, has followed suit by shooting a stroke average of 70.92 ranking seventh in the SEC and finished in the top 5 at two tournaments.
Following an agreed handover period from Spikemark, the NCAA announced that Clippd, a leader in the golf technology industry, will provide NCAA golf scoring and ranking services. Clippd is a golf data platform that provides performance insights for more than 100 NCAA Division I, II and III college programs. Over the last few weeks, following an approach by Spikemark for assistance, Clippd has worked to provide the infrastructure necessary to compile, validate and publicize fall 2023 results from all Division I, II and III men's and women's golf competitions.
The Rebels will be back in action to kick off their spring season Feb. 4-6 at the Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
