Big Week On Deck at SJB Pavilion
11/27/2023 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Athletics
OXFORD, Miss. – While Ole Miss football awaits its bowl destination, Ole Miss men's and women's basketball are both due for big weeks on the hardcourt at the Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss.
The SJB Pavilion is home to the ACC/SEC Challenge for both the men's and women's squads this year. Chris Beard's team will host NC State on Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2, looking to improve on a 5-0 start to the 2023-24 season.
Yolett McPhee-McCuin's No. 19-ranked squad will then have a Sweet 16 rematch with No. 22 Louisville on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
Students who attend both the men's and women's ACC/SEC Challenge games will be entered to win an exclusive bowl travel package.
Beard and Co. will then wrap up the big week at the SJB Pavilion hosting Memphis, presented by Coca-Cola, on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
Single-game tickets remain for both the men's and women's games at OleMissTix.com. Read on to see what's coming alongside the three marquee matchups in Oxford this week.
MBB Culture Week
With two prime, nationally televised matchups on deck, the SJB Pavilion is certain to be buzzing as the men's team welcomes Ole Miss fans for Culture Week—an invitation for Rebel fans to create an elite atmosphere and help to build the culture of the program in Year 1 under Beard.
The first 1,000 students in attendance Tuesday night vs. NC State will receive a Build the Culture t-shirt.
Saturday vs. Memphis, Culture t-shirts will be laid on every seat of the lower bowl. Fans are encouraged to wear red as the Rebels host the Tigers, who are just outside of the national rankings at 26th in both polls.
Limited tickets remain at OleMissTix.com.
WBB Party in the Sip Night
McPhee-McCuin's Rebels will face Power 5 competition for the fourth time already in this non-conference slate as Ole Miss hosts Louisville in a rematch from last year's Sweet 16. It'll be just the third meeting of two ranked teams in SJB Pavilion history.
Tickets are just $5, and fans are encouraged to wear powder for Party in the Sip Night. There will be a powder blue SEC t-shirt giveaway for students.
The SJB Pavilion will offer $2 happy hour pricing for beer pregame. Gates open at 7:15 p.m.
It is also Books and Bears night at the SJB Pavilion, featuring a halftime teddy bear toss. The first 100 fans to bring a book or a bear will get free admission. All books and bears will be donated.
Student Bowl Ticket Giveaway
Students who attend both ACC/SEC Challenge games this Tuesday and Wednesday will also be entered to win an exclusive football postseason package! This package will include two (2) tickets for the Rebels' bowl game as well as a $500 travel gift card.
SJB Pavilion Ticket Options
Ole Miss ticket holders have the ability to help create a game-changing home-court advantage at the SJB Pavilion. This starts with making sure as many seats as possible are filled at tipoff.
Men's basketball season ticket holders are encouraged to check in at one of two season ticket holder tables located on the North concourse or the elevator bay in the Southeast corner. Those who attend at least 90% of all men's home games will receive a gift at the end of the season.
Can't make it to every basketball game? Ole Miss offers solutions to increase the likelihood that your tickets are used by other fans who want to experience the excitement of game days in Oxford:
- Transfer your tickets. Through the Ole Miss Rebels mobile app, you can easily send your tickets to other family and friends by logging into your online account.
- Return your tickets. You can give your tickets back to the athletics department, who will then get them in the hands of other fans who want to experience an Ole Miss basketball game. Just log in to your ticket account and click "Return Ticket" for any game you cannot attend.
If you return your tickets online at least 48 hours prior to tipoff of that game, you will receive an additional 25 reward points as part of the Rebel Rewards fan loyalty program. Points can be redeemed for exclusive items and experiences throughout the season. Rebel Rewards can be accessed through the official Ole Miss Rebels mobile app.
Additionally, fans can list their tickets for resale on SeatGeek, the official secondary partner of Ole Miss Athletics. SeatGeek gives season ticket holders the ability to sell their seats to other members of Rebel Nation.
