Soccer Inks Six New Rebels On National Signing Day

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss soccer and head coach Molly Rouse announced the addition of six new Rebels as a part of their 2024 recruiting class this week.
"I am thrilled to announce our incoming 2024 recruiting class and I cannot contain my excitement about the remarkable group of student-athletes that will be joining our Rebel family," Rouse said. "These talented individuals are not only outstanding soccer players but also exemplary women who will undoubtedly elevate the culture of our program.
"Our 2024 class brings with them a wealth of experience, passion, and a commitment to excellence that will positively impact the culture of our program. Their dedication to teamwork, resilience, and strong work ethic are contagious, and they will undoubtedly raise the bar for our entire team. We believe in fostering a culture of unity and mutual support, and these athletes embody those values. They have been handpicked to help us reach new heights and expand our tradition of excellence."
Sofia Barrie | Midfielder/Defender | Chandler, Ariz.
Sofia Barrie hails from Chandler, Arizona where she is a three-time letterwinner at Hamilton High School and plays club soccer for Utah Royals FC ECNL.
Barrie is a three-time AZ ODP Western Conference selection (2020-22) and was named a captain on Hamilton's team twice. She has been a captain of her club team three times and was named the Arsenal Soccer Club Most Improved Player in 2020.
Tate Blincoe | Defender | Bardstown, Ky.
Tate Blincoe comes to Oxford from Bardstown, Kentucky where she plays for Bardstown High School and Racing Louisville Academy. Blincoe has earned four letters in soccer, five in track and field, and two in football where she is the team's kicker. She is a four-time 5th Region Defensive Player of the Year, a three-time 5th Region Soccer Player of the Year, and a three-time All-State First Team honoree. After the 2023 season, Blincoe was named an All-American as well as Miss Kentucky Soccer.
Blincoe has scored 55 career goals and dished out 24 total assists as a defender during her four-year soccer career. In 2023, she scored 27 goals, nearly doubling her total from the previous three seasons combined. She has led Bardstown to a 2020 district championship and two regional championships with an appearance in the Elite Eight in 2021.
During her time with Racing Louisville, Blincoe has been a three-time National Qualifier, was named All-Ohio Valley in 2023 and was invited to practice with the Racing Louisville First Team on multiple occasions.
This season with Bardstown's football team, Blincoe has been a perfect 13-for-13 on PATs and is 3-for-4 on field goal attempts including a long of 30 yards.
Kayla Keefer | Forward | Bloomsburg, Penn.
Kayla Keefer will make the trip to Oxford from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania where she is a two-time letterwinner at Central Columbia High School and plays club soccer for STN Elite.
During the 2023 season, Keefer broke Central Coumbia's career goal scoring record and earned All-State honors at the end of the season. She has led Central Columbia to three district championships and won the first state championship in school history in 2023. Keefer has been named a team captain for the 2024 season.
Ally Thomas | Defender | Newport Beach, Calif.
Ally Thomas joins the Rebels from Newport Beach, California where she plays soccer for Newport Harbor High School and Slammers FC ECNL. She is a three-time letterwinner at Newport Harbor and is a two-time Defensive MVP. She has also earned All-Wave League First Team and All-Surf League First Team honors.
Thomas led Newport Harbor to a Wave League Championship in 2021.
Tatum Hofstetter | Midfielder | Scottsdale, Ariz.
Tatum Hofstetter comes to Oxford from Scottsdale, Arizona where she attends Arizona Connections Academy. Hofstetter also plays club soccer for ODP National Team and CCV Stars.
Grace Smith | Midfielder | Cypress, Texas
Grace Smith is heading to Oxford from Cypress, Texas where she attends and plays soccer for Cy-Fair High School. Smith also plays club soccer for Challenge SC ECNL.

Their integrity, leadership, and dedication on and off the field are truly exceptional," Rouse said. "These individuals have consistently demonstrated their commitment to not only becoming better soccer players but better people. Their dedication to contributing to their communities and their ability to lead by example are qualities we hold in high regard.

These women have honed their skills and developed a deep understanding of the game through their experiences in competitive club soccer.
