New School Year Brings New Growth for Vaught Society, Ole Miss Athletics Foundation

OXFORD, Miss. – There has never been a better time to be an Ole Miss Rebel, evidenced by the unprecedented growth of the university and athletics department, not to mention the unwavering support of Rebel Nation.

The 2023 college football season is just underway, but already the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation and Vaught Society have pushed to new heights.

Membership for the Vaught Society now spans across 29 states, as well as Puerto Rico, including 11 members under the age of 30 and 71 former student-athletes. Total membership now stands at 660, an increase of nearly 300 since 2018.

Ole Miss also announced the launch of the eMpower program earlier this year, the first women's athletics major giving platform in the Southeastern Conference, which has already generated $800,000 from its 25 members.

The Vaught Society, OMAF's umbrella major giving society, also includes giving programs eMpower, Air Rebs, Forever Ole Miss and gifts in kind. All combined, these are the key catalysts to the ongoing Champions. Now. capital campaign. So far, just over $60 million has been raised toward a goal of $175 million. The first objective of Champions. Now. is officially complete as the football program began the 2023 season in the newly renovated Olivia and Archie Manning Athletics Performance Center. Construction is now underway on the Ole Miss Softball Stadium and future projects are coming for men's and women's golf, baseball and women's soccer.
