Ole Miss Athletics Hosts Next Level NIL Summit

OXFORD, Miss. – In its continued commitment to leadership and innovation in NIL initiatives, Ole Miss Athletics, led by its department of Social Responsibility & Engagement, held the Next Level NIL Summit this week.
The two-day program educated student-athletes on the department's Next Level NIL program, which exists to equip Ole Miss student-athletes with the resources to build their personal brand, expand their professional network and navigate NIL opportunities. The Next Level NIL Summit provided attendees with insights and information on the internal and external resources at their disposal and connected them with leaders in the NIL and branding space.
"We regularly share resources and opportunities with student-athletes through digital platforms. However, we have found that it would be more impactful to provide them an opportunity to engage with the products and interact directly with representatives," said Ole Miss' Director of Social Responsibility and Engagement, Ravin Gilbert. "This has been in the works for some time now, so it was wonderful to be able to host it for the first time. I'm proud of the team and the response. We received great feedback from both student-athletes and companies in who we invited to participate."

Ole Miss has been at the forefront of the evolving NIL space in collegiate athletics. The official collective of Ole Miss Athletics, The Grove Collective, has experienced remarkable growth since its launch in early 2022 and is ranked among the industry's top 10 collectives. More than 300 Rebel student-athletes, spanning every Ole Miss team, receive support from the Collective and its 80+ corporate sponsors and 5,000+ active monthly subscribers.
