OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss women's golf team added two more team trophies and one individual medalist finish to its collection in a strong start to the 2024-25 season.
The Rebels have now won at least one tournament during their fall schedule in each of the last three seasons, continuing their string of early-season success under head coach Kory Henkes. Read more on that below, as well as other highlights from the fall campaign.
FALL SNAPSHOT
FEARED IN THE FALL
Ole Miss has at least one fall tournament win in six of the last eight seasons and has won 12 team titles during the fall season in the Henkes era. This is the second time in the last three seasons Ole Miss has won two tournaments in the fall. The Rebels have also now won 11 individual titles during the fall season under Henkes with Macnab's victory at the Mary Fossum Invitational.
HISTORIC WIN AT MEDINAH
Ole Miss seems to set new program records each year, and already 2024-25 is no different. The Rebels carded their second lowest 54-hole score in program history at 834, a stunning 30-under par. They improved their team score by one stroke each round as Macnab (-9), Svarvar (-8) and Filippa Sundquist (-7) each finished in the top 10. All six Rebels were under par for the tournament as Sophie Linder was 3-under and Nicole Gal was 1-under to round out the scoring five, while Larissa Carrillo shot 5-under as an individual.
SWEEP IN MICHIGAN
The Rebels also turned in a record-breaking performance in their win at Forest Akers West Golf Course. They set the Mary Fossum Invitational record at 847 (-17) to race past host and runner-up Michigan State by 15-strokes. Ole Miss had three top-five finishers: individual medalist Macnab who carded 63 in Round 1 to finish 12-under on the weekend, Gal in fourth place at 5-under and Linder tied for fifth at 1-under.

- Set program record for second-lowest 54-hole score, shooting 834 (-30) to win Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah
- Set tournament record at the Mary Fossum Invitational at Forest Akers West Golf Course, carding an 847 (-17) to outpace host and runner-up Michigan State by 15-strokes
- Caitlyn Macnab also set the course record at the Mary Fossum Invitational, shooting 12-under (204) for her fourth career medalist finish.
- The sweep at the Mary Fossum Invitational marked the 11th in program history and first since 2022.
- Placed in Top 5 in three of four tournaments
- Caitlyn Macnab named SEC Women's Co-Golfer of the Week on Sept. 25
- Kajsalotta Svarvar set the program record for lowest round by a freshman at 65 in Round two of the Illini Invite.
