Davis Shines in Return to Louisville with Season-Best 20 Points

A top-100 recruit out of high school, Dre Davis joined the Louisville program in 2020 and spent two seasons with the Cardinals where he played in 50 games. After two seasons with Seton Hall and a transfer to Ole Miss, Davis helped the men’s basketball team defeat Louisville 86-63 on Tuesday night in the arena he used to call home with a season-best 20 points.

The senior from Indianapolis was an efficient 9-12 from the field, knocking down a pair of threes while grabbing four rebounds with two assists, all in 22 minutes of action.

The No. 20 Rebels picked up a key road win at Louisville, helping boost their record to 7-1 on the season. Davis and the team return home to the SJB Pavilion next, hosting Lindenwood on Saturday, December 7 at 7 p.m.
