Host Husted, Lignell Receive CSC Academic All-District Honors

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's golf saw Natacha Host Husted and Andrea Lignell both receive Academic All-District honors, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student- athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Both Rebels were among a select few who were chosen to be CSC Academic All-America finalists. The first-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 16.
In her Ole Miss career, Husted has accumulated many academic awards including being named to the 2021-22 First-Year SEC Honor Roll and to the 2023 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. The Copenhagen, Denmark, native has also been recognized as a 2022 WGCA All-American Scholar as she has strung together an impressive 3.96 cumulative GPA.
Lignell, who just concluded her fifth year as a Rebel, has also earned many academic honors throughout her career, garnering a spot on the 2022 and 2023 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll and being named a 2022 WGCA All-American Scholar. The most recent graduate capped off her collegiate career with a 3.72 cumulative GPA, the second highest on the team behind Husted.
