OXFORD, Miss. – Wearing the red and navy means just a little more for sophomore Grace Freeman. The Oxford native scored her first collegiate goal for the Rebels in the team’s 2-1 victory over Samford this past Sunday.

What do you love about your coaches and teammates?
“I love how supportive my coaches are and how they care about you more as a person than as a player. My teammates are always super encouraging and always want to see me succeed.”

What do you love about soccer?
“I love the competitive aspect. I love working hard and seeing yourself grow at something.”
What advice do you have for your younger self?
“Advice for my younger self would be don’t be so hard on yourself. Give yourself grace. It’s ok to make mistakes. Just enjoy the process.”
