Men’s Basketball Signees Earn McDonald’s All-American East and West Nominations

OXFORD, Miss. – Each of the Ole Miss men's basketball class of 2025 members from November's signing day were honored with McDonald's All-American nominations on Wednesday, with Tylis Jordan earning a nomination for the East and Patton Pinkins in the West.
 
Committing to the program this past November, Jordan and Pinkins gave Ole Miss a consensus top-25 class on signing day, ranked No. 12 by Rivals, No. 16 by On3, and No. 25 by 247Sports.
 
A 6'9" forward from Louisville, Ga., Jordan is a consensus top-100 recruit, owning national rankings as high as No. 28 by both On3 and Rivals. An incredibly skilled big man, Jordan has the ability to stretch the floor with his shooting from deep, and averaged a double-double last season as a junior at Shiloh with 21.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
 
A top-100 recruit nationally as well, Pinkins is ranked as high as No. 78 by Rivals and one of the top-10 players in the talented state of Texas across multiple outlets. A 6'5" shooting guard from Wolfforth, Texas, Pinkins is an efficient offensive weapon, shooting over 60 percent from the field and over 40 percent from three. The son of current Ole Miss assistant Coach Al Pinkins, he posses a high basketball IQ with a strong passing abiliy.
 
The prestigious McDonald's All-American game will take place this year on April 1 in Brooklyn, N.Y. at the Barclay's Center. Final rosters for the East and West teams playing in the event will be announced at a later date. Current Ole Miss forward John Bol participated in the game last spring, and has seen action in 12 games this season as a freshman for the nationally ranked Rebels.
