Missouri controlled the offensive flow for much of the second half, as the Tigers relied on three-point shooting from the duo of Grill and Bates.
Ole Miss would come within three of the lead at 54-51, with 10:15 to play, but the Tigers had an answer for every Ole Miss jab.
Four Rebels scored in double-figures led by Malik Dia with 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting. Dia also led Ole Miss on the glass with eight rebounds.
Grill and Bates combined for 51 of Missouri's 83 points in the contest including 11-of-11 from the free-throw line.
