Isac Strömberg and Kai Milburn Win ITA Southern Doubles Regional Championship

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Ole Miss men's tennis doubles pairing, Isac Strömberg (Stockholm, Sweden/Österåker Gymnasium) and Kai Milburn, won the Ita Southern Regional Doubles Championship on Tuesday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 

In the Championship match, Strömberg and Milburn defeated Alabama's duo of Jacob Olar and Andrii Zimnokh, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8. Strömberg and Milburn earned six consecutive victories to claim the regional doubles title.

With the win, Strömberg and Milburn qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championships this fall. This is also the first Regional ITA Championship since Nikola Slavic's  in 2021, and first Doubles ITA Regional Championship since since Zvonimir Babic and Filip Kraljevic in 2017
