OXFORD, Miss. – It was a big week for Ole Miss basketball at the Sandy & John Black Pavilion, where the Rebel men took down No. 14 Kentucky and the women topped No. 8 Kentucky as part of a phenomenal week.
The men opened things up Tuesday with a dominant 98-84 win over the Wildcats, followed by an epic buzzer-beating comeback victory at LSU on Saturday. The women followed suit with a Big Monday victory over the Wildcats.

Dispatched the Cats
Both Ole Miss men's and women's basketball beat Kentucky in the same season for the first time since 2021 and just the fourth time this century. Never a Doubt
After a monumental win over Kentucky in the midweek, Ole Miss men's basketball hit the road to break a stretch of six ranked opponents in seven games against LSU. After a back-and-forth start, the Rebels fell behind midway through the first half and still trailed by 11 with three minutes to go. Ole Miss held the Tigers scoreless over the final 3:15, climbing all the way back to a tie on a Jaemyn Brakefield 3-pointer with 45 seconds left and taking the lead with a tip-in with fractions of a second left.
Queen of the Hill
In the win over Kentucky, fifth-year senior Madison Scott surpassed Ole Miss legend Peggie Gillom-Granderson for the most games played in program history at 145.
