Sean Pedulla Earns All-SEC Honors

3/10/2025 | Men's Basketball

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced their postseason awards on Monday, as voted on by the coaches, with Ole Miss guard Sean Pedulla earning a spot on the all-conference third team.

The senior guard led the Rebels in points per game at 15.1, assists with 116, and made threes with 77, all while ranking ninth in the SEC in field goal percentage at 43.7. Pedulla ranks fourth in the conference on the defensive end with 57 steals this season, a total which ties him for the seventh-most in a single season in school history. His 77 makes from beyond the arc are one shy of entering the top-10 for most in a single season in program history as well.

The transfer from Virginia Tech has been a focal point for an Ole Miss team that has won 21 games this season, defeating No. 4 Alabama, No. 14 Kentucky, and No. 4 Tennessee, among others, en route to a projected NCAA Tournament berth. Pedulla has played the point for an offense that currently ranks third in the NCAA for fewest turnovers per game, and paces a defense that ranks fourth in turnover margin and 32nd in steals per game nationally.

Pedulla and the Ole Miss men's basketball team will head to Nashville next for the 2025 SEC Tournament, where they earned a first-round bye and will await the winner of Arkansas vs. South Carolina in the second round on Thursday, March 13 at 12 p.m. CT in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
