Women’s Golf Adds Georgia Southern Transfer Mary Miller

OXFORD, Miss. – Coming off its third consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships, Ole Miss women's golf has added transfer Mary Miller, head coach Kory Henkes announced Monday.
 
Miller heads to Oxford after spending her freshman season at Georgia Southern.
 
"We are excited to welcome Mary to the Ole Miss family," Henkes said. "She is a true competitor who knows how to win. She will bring a fierce competitive nature to our team and we look forward to the impact she will make on our program."
 
The Savannah, Georgia, native appeared in all 13 tournaments this season for the Eagles. Miller tallied a stroke average of 74.57 in her rookie collegiate campaign. She recently carded the best 54-hole score for Georgia Southern at the NCAA Championships with a 6-over (222). Miller fired a 2-under, 70, in both the first and third round at Omni La Costa's North Course during the championships. She also had a strong showing at the NCAA Lexington Regional, finishing seventh individually at 3-under par.
 
During her time in Statesboro, Miller registered six top-10 finishes, including top medalist honors at the More Than Golf Invitational during the spring season. Miller rode her collegiate-best score of 5-under during the second round to take home top individual honors in Aiken, South Carolina. Miller finished the 2024-25 season with 101 birdies and 16 rounds of par or better.
 
Miller is currently ranked No. 176 in the in the Clippd Scoreboard individual rankings and No. 275 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR). She is a two-time Georgia PGA Junior Champion and also took home medalist honors at the 2023 Beth Daniel Junior Azalea and 2023 Sea Pines Junior Heritage in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
 
Miller prepped at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, where she was the 2023 3A Female Golfer of the Year and a three-time first-team all-state selection. She earned back-to-back Georgia 3A individual titles and helped the Raiders to three straight team championships.
