No. 20 Women’s Golf Finishes Third at Canadian Collegiate Invitational

AURORA, ONTARIO, Canada – The No. 20 Ole Miss women's golf team finished third at the inaugural playing of the Canadian Collegiate Invitational. The Rebels posted (577, +1) with three playing finishing inside the top 15.
Ole Miss has finished inside the top three in every tournament this fall.
Mary Miller carded her first top 10 of the season, finishing T8 at one-under. After a tough start, Miller tallied five birdies over her final 12 holes to shoot two-under 70 on the day.
Nicole Gal also finished T8 in her return home. The Oakville, Ontario native shot even par on Tuesday at Beacon Hall Golf Club.
Sophie Linder finished T13 at even par marking her second top 15 finish on the year. Filippa Sundquist also finished inside the top 20 at T19. Sundquist was one-under in Tuesday's final round.
Matilda Björkman placed T23 and Kajsalotta Svarvar finished T28.
Ole Miss will take the next month off before wrapping fall action at The Ally, Oct. 20-22. Old Waverly Golf Club will be the site of the three-day event with Mississippi State to serve as the host.
