No. 20 Women’s Golf in Second After Two Rounds in Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The No. 20 Ole Miss women's golf team sits in second after posting (552, -16) over 36-holes at Yeamans Hall Club Monday. All five Rebels in the starting lineup are in red figures with Kajsalotta Svarvar leading the charge at six-under.
Svarvar posted rounds of 70-66 on Monday and sits tied for second heading into tomorrow's final round. The sophomore lit up her front nine in the second round, going out in four-under 32. She would tally 12 birdies on the day and is just one stroke off the lead.
Sophie Linder is four-under and T11 after carding rounds of 68-70. The Carthage, Tennessee native had just one bogey across her 36-holes and tallied five birdies on the day.
Mary Miller fired rounds of 69-70 in her second trip to the Cougar Classic and is three-under T15 for the tournament.
Filippa Sundquist and Matilda Björkman both sit at one-under T26 after two rounds in Charleston.
Similar to their season opener, Ole Miss leads the field in par 5 scoring and total birdies through two rounds.
Final round action will begin Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
