No. 17 Women’s Golf Completes Day One at Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, S.C. – The No. 18/17 Ole Miss women's golf team is in 10th place after first round action at the Clemson Invitational. The Rebels posted (291, +3) led by Mary Miller's round of 2-under 70.
Miller was solid once again for the Rebels, carding her 10th round in red figures this season. She made the turn at even par and closed strong with back-to-back birdies at 17 and 18 to finish under-par.
The Savannah, Georgia native is tied for 11th heading into the second round.
Nicole Gal finished her round at 1-over-par. Sophie Linder and Kajsalotta Svarvar both posted 2-over 74.
The Rebels ranked third in par-3 scoring on the afternoon.
Ole Miss will begin round two at 8:10 a.m. CT going off in 10-minute increments.
