HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The No. 15 Ole Miss women's golf team is through two rounds after Tuesday's action at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The Rebels posted (296, +12) in the second round and are tied for 12th.
Mary Miller had a solid day for the Rebels, shooting one-under 70. She carded five birdies on her front nine, shooting three-under 33 going out.
The shot of the day came when Miller nearly made an ace at the par 3 17th, missing the cup by a foot as the ball landed on the green. The Savannah, Georgia native sits inside the top 20 with 18 holes to play.
Kajsalotta Svarvar had a tough scoring day but remains inside the top 15 at two-over par.
Final round action will begin Wednesday morning at 10:10 a.m. CT. Golf Channel will provide live coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m.
