No. 21 Women’s Golf Punches Ticket to Match Play at SEC Championship

4/19/2026 | Women's Golf

BELLEAIR, Fla. – The No. 21 Ole Miss women's golf team punched its ticket to match play at the SEC Championship with a fifth-place finish in stroke play. The Rebels posted (840, E) highlighted by a season best finish from Mary Miller who placed T2 at 6-under-par.

Ole Miss will be the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 Auburn in the quarterfinal round.

It was a tough scoring day at Pelican Golf Club but the Rebels managed to weather the storm to finish inside the cut line.

Kajsalotta Svarvar had the low round of the day for Ole Miss at 2-under. Matilda Björkman bounced back after a couple of tough scoring days shooting even par in her final round.

Despite shooting 2-over-par on Sunday, it was a standout championship debut for sophomore Mary Miller. Her 54-hole total of (204, -6) marked a new career-low to go along with a season best runner-up finish. Miller now has four top 10 finishes in stroke play events this season.

Quarterfinal action against the Tigers will begin at 7:00 a.m. CT.

If the Rebels advance, semifinal action on Monday afternoon will be available on SEC Network+. The championship match on Tuesday, April 21, will be televised live on SEC Network at 9 a.m. CT.
