Women’s Golf Earns No. 4 Seed in Simpsonville Regional
4/29/2026 | Women's Golf
OXFORD, Miss. – For the 17th time in program history, the Ole Miss women's golf team is NCAA regional bound.
The No. 19 Rebels have earned the No. 4 seed in the Simpsonville Regional, as announced by the NCAA and Golf Channel on Wednesday. The regional will be played at the University of Louisville Golf Club, May 11-13.
It is the eighth straight NCAA Tournament appearance for the Rebels and the sixth straight regional in which Ole Miss has earned a No. 4 seed or better.
The regional bid resume included six regular season top five finishes and two team titles. Four players tallied at least one top-10 finish with two tallying at least one top five. The sophomore duo of Kajsalotta Svarvar and Mary Miller have been frontrunners all season, each leading the team in multiple statistical categories. Svarvar paces the team in scoring average (71.58) and rounds in the 60s (8) while Miller has the most rounds under-par (13) to go along with four top-10 finishes individually.
After 54 holes, the top five teams, as well as the top individual from a non-advancing team, will advance to the NCAA Championship at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, May 22-27. The NCAA Championship will ultimately feature 30 teams and six individuals from non-qualifying teams.
