Athletic Director Search Continues
A.D. Search Committe and Ole Miss Athletic Committee to hold joint meeting.

OXFORD, Miss. -- A joint meeting between the University of Mississippi Athletic Committee and the Athletic Director Search Committee will be held on Saturday, May 30, said Dr. Robert Weems, a law professor who chairs both the University's Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics and the search committee.

Weems stated that the purpose of Saturday's meeting was to "make recommendations to the Chancellor regarding the Athletic Director search."

The six finalists for the Ole Miss Athletic Director post are: Richard George, Vanderbilt University senior associate athletic director; Richard Giannini, Northeast Louisiana University athletic director; Dan Radakovich, University of South Carolina associate athletic director; John Shafer, University of Georgia senior associate athletic director; Mark Webb, University of the South athletic director; and James "Butch" Worley, University of Texas associate athletic director.

Ole Miss Athletic Director Pete Boone left the University April 15 to return to the banking industry in Baton Rouge, La.
