June 15, 2004

JACKSON, Miss. - An evening with New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister will be held here Friday night, June 18, from 7:00 to 10:00 at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, 1152 Lakeland Drive, to benefit McAllister's Catch 22 Foundation and his June 19 football clinic for kids.

The Catch 22 Foundation charitable fund-raiser will be a cocktail-style event which will include food samplings from local restaurants and interaction with Deuce McAllister, Ben Williams, Fred McAfee, Joe Horn, Moran Norris, and other local celebrities, as well as a live and silent auction.

McAllister, one of the most honored players in Ole Miss football history, and his foundation - Catch 22 - are kicking off their efforts to make a difference in the Greater Jackson Area. Each ticket sold to the dinner on Friday will sponsor a child to attend Saturday's football clinic at Millsaps College.

Advance tickets for Friday's dinner, which cost $75 for one person or $100 for two, may be purchased by calling Lynn at 601-949-7165. Tickets will also be on sale Friday evening at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
