WHAT TO WATCH FOR...

  • Ole Miss is seeking its ninth consecutive win in its second game of the season. The Rebels last recorded a Game 2 loss on Sept. 6, 2008 in a 30-28 defeat at No. 20 Wake Forest.
  • A win would give the Rebels their fifth 2-0 start in the last six seasons.
  • The Rebels last played UT Martin in their 2015 season opener. In Chad Kelly's Ole Miss debut, the Rebels racked up 662 yards of total offense in a 76-3 triumph.
  • Junior receiver A.J. Brown ranks No. 3 nationally in receiving yards after going off for a school record 233 yards on eight receptions in Ole Miss' season-opening win over South Alabama.
  • Sophomore quarterback Shea Patterson is third in the NCAA with 429 passing yards. His four passing TDs are also good for third nationally. He ranks ninth in completion percentage (80 percent).
  • Brown and junior receiver DaMarkus Lodge are tied for No. 2 in the nation with two receiving touchdowns each.
  • UT Martin was outstanding defensively in its season opener, holding Clarion to 147 total yards in a 36-0 win.
  • The Skyhawks controlled the chains, holding Clarion to just nine first downs and a combined 0-for-16 on third and fourth down conversions.
  • UT Martin running back Ladarius Galloway totaled 198 all-purpose yards in the season-opening win. The Skyhawks ran the ball on 60 percent of their plays against Clarion.

September 5, 2015 - Ole Miss 76, UT Martin 3 at Ole Miss: Ole Miss scored early and often Saturday against UT Martin. The Rebel offense amassed 662 yards and scored 10 touchdowns, while the defense limited the Skyhawks to just 290 yards and scored a TD of its own, as Ole Miss rolled to a 76-3 season-opening win in front of 60,186 fans at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. It marked the most points in a game for Ole Miss and the largest margin of victory since a 92-0 win against West Tennessee Teachers College, now known as University of Memphis, in 1935.
