Bolden also caught four passes for 80 yards. Enrique Davis also added to the running game, tallying 116 rushing yards, allowing the Rebels to gain a total of 298 yards on the ground.

Oct. 17, 1987 - Oxford, Miss. - Ole Miss 24, SW Louisiana 14: Ole Miss built a 17-0 lead after one half en route to a 24-14 victory over Southwestern Louisiana in Oxford. Oct. 18, 1986 - Oxford, Miss. - Ole Miss 21, SW Louisiana 20: The Rebels led 21-6 at the end of three quarters, but had to stave off a furious Ragin' Cajun fourth-quarter rally to prevail 21-20. Southwestern Louisiana blocked a punt and returned it 39 yards for a score with 3:05 left in the game and then got the ball back, marched down the field, and scored again with just 1:17 remaining.
