Mission Statement:
To enhance the Ole Miss student-athlete through a variety of intentional programming in the areas of Career Development, Community Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Advancement.
Program Overview:
The Life Skills Department at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) is the hub for a wide range of Ole Miss Athletics sponsored programs designed to meet the needs of student-athletes and their families. Since its inception in 1991 by the NCAA, the Champs Life Skills Program has helped provide student-athletes across the country with helpful resources to be successful on and off the playing field. At Ole Miss, our Student-Athlete Development Life Skills Program is divided into the following areas:

Diversity and Inclusion
Personal Advancement
Goals of the Ole Miss Student-Athlete Development Life Skills Program
- Provide both educational and experiential learning opportunities to develop personal and professional characteristics that will enhance the ability to obtain postgraduate placement.
- Create servant leaders through targeted support initiatives in local, state, national and international causes.
- Create a sense of community through university partnerships and beyond to promote and appreciate of differences.
- Foster responsible social living through various personal enhancement topics to create productive citizens of society.
