2026-27 RECRUITMENT INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in the University of Mississippi and Ole Miss Cheer! In lieu of holding tryouts, Ole Miss Cheer has adopted a Recruitment style process to select our 2026-2027 team. Please see below for our Recruitment Process.

STEP 1: INTEREST FORM

Cheerleaders attending Ole Miss in Fall 2026 will need to complete our Ole Miss Cheer Interest Form.

NOTE: Completing this form does not guarantee you will be selected as a recruit. It will only notify the coaching staff of your interest in our program.

STEP 2: IN-PERSON CLINIC(S)

Register and attend one of our in-person Summer/Fall/Spring Clinics (for more information and to register, please visit www.olemisscheercamps.com)

- Sept. 21, 2025
- Nov. 2, 2025
- 2-4 Spring Recruitment Clinics (dates TBD)
Seniors and College Transfers will receive a # at check-in and will be evaluated on all material/skills presented at clinic(s).
If a cheerleader is selected as a recruit, they will be notified via email 2-3 weeks following the conclusion of the clinic they participated in.
Please understand and respect that attending only one in-person does not guarantee recruit status.
Please note that by attending an in-person clinic does not guarantee participant will be selected as an official recruit.

STEP 3: FALL '25 ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance into the University of Mississippi for Fall 2026.

Once you have been admitted for Fall 2026, please email a copy of your acceptance letter to sbcasey@olemiss.edu and we will add that to your interest form on your behalf.

STEP 4: RECRUIT FALL AND SPRING WEEKEND

If a cheerleader is selected as a recruit:
- they will be invited to attend and participate at a select practice with current team Spring 2025.
  *All details and logistics will be sent directly to recruits.
Recruits selected as official members of the 2026-2027 teams will be notified individually. Once rosters have been finalized we will announce the full roster on social media late Spring 2027.
