A-Z Guide: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium

Whether you're planning your trip to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, walking up to the gate or settling in to your seat, we hope you have a wonderful visit. Use this A-to-Z guide to answer many of the questions you may have about a game day in Oxford.

A
ACCESSIBILITY
– Patrons must have a reserved ticket designated for ADA seating areas. For ADA seating tickets, contact the Ole Miss Ticket Office at 888-REB-TKTS.
– The ADA elevator is located on the east side of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium near gates 13 and 14.
– ADA restrooms are available in locations nearest to wheelchair accessible seating areas (North Endzone, Upper East and Lower East near Section K).
– Only certified service animals are permitted inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and must remain on a leash or harness at all times.
ADA
– Patrons must have a reserved ticket designated for ADA seating areas. ADA tickets are available through the online sale only.
– ADA elevators are located on the east side of Vaught- Hemingway Stadium near gates 13 and 14.
– ADA restrooms are available in locations nearest to wheelchair accessible seating areas (North Endzone, Upper East and Lower East near Section K).

ADA PARKING
– Fans must have a valid Ole Miss gameday parking pass AND a state-issued ADA credential to park in ADA stalls during athletics events.
– Fans must display a state-issued ADA parking credential any time you park in stalls marked with ADA signage on the Ole Miss Campus and off-campus shuttle lots.
– Violators are subject to citation and tow.
– All ADA signage and markings are honored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Ole Miss campus and off-campus shuttle lots. Please do not park in an ADA stall when parking for athletics events unless you have a state-issued ADA hang tag or license plate along with your gameday parking pass.
– The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits the refusal of service to any patron seeking service. Therefore, fans are asked to be courteous to those requiring service and to not use the ADA shuttles unless needed.
– ADA Golf Carts are located on the Southeast and Northeast sides of the stadium.
– If you need assistance for a shuttle, please call 662-915-7235.
ADA ON-CAMPUS GOLF CART SHUTTLES
– On-campus golf cart shuttle service begins at 7 AM
– On-campus golf cart shuttle service ends 1 hour post game
– On-campus golf cart shuttle stops at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium are found outside the northeast and northwest corners of the stadium. These stops will provide golf cart shuttles to/from the South Lot/Lot E and Tad Smith Coliseum.
– In order to accommodate ADA fans waiting at ADA tents, on-campus golf cart shuttles are restricted from picking up patrons to/from ADA Tents.
– On-campus golf cart shuttles are courtesy shuttles that will take those requiring assistance to assigned stops across campus.
– On-campus golf cart shuttles will not transport coolers, tents and other tailgating equipment unless associated with an ADA guest.
– On-campus ADA shuttles are intended to service fans on gameday who need assistance and their party. They are not intended to provide transportation for all fans. The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits the refusal of service to any patron seeking service. Therefore, fans are asked to be courteous to those requiring service and to not use the ADA shuttles unless needed.
ALCOHOL SALES
– Fans are encouraged to verify their age prior to visiting a concessions stand. Age verification stations inside the stadium are centrally located on each concourse. Fans will receive an age verified wristband once approved. Subsequent ID checks are not required with a wristband.
– You must be 21 to purchase alcohol. No exceptions.
– A valid ID is required for every sale.
– Limit two (2) drinks per transaction.
– No sales or service to visibly intoxicated persons.
– Underaged drinking is prohibited.
– Purchasing or providing alcohol to minors is prohibited.
– Guests who violate this policy may be ejected and risk arrest and loss of ticket privileges.
– Sales will start when the gates or doors open.
– Sales will end at the conclusion of the 3rd quarter
ATMS
– Our venue is 100% cashless; only major credit/debit cards and mobile payment options will be accepted for payment.
B
BASICS
– Stadium gates open 2 hours prior to kickoff
– Smoking is prohibited on the campus of the University of Mississippi including in and around Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
– In case of an emergency inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium please dial 911 or text “REBS”, the issue and the location to 662-291-7242.
– Security office is located on the ground level in the southeast corner of the stadium near gate 20.
– First Aid stations are located inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on the lower level of the east side near section K, the lower level of the southeast corner near gate 20 and the middle concourse of the west side near section J.
– Abusive language is prohibited.
– Throwing of objects onto the field/stage is prohibited.
– Lost and found articles should be turned into ushers and/or security personnel. Items may be claimed by visiting the security station located on the ground level of the southeast corner of the stadium, or after the game by contacting the University Police Department.
– State law prohibits scalping tickets at events hosted by the University of Mississippi. (MS Code Ann. 97-23-97).
– No reentry after you are scanned into the stadium
BOX OFFICE
– The ticket office will be located at the ticket office at the Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss (on All-American Drive) on the North Side. It will be open three hours prior to kickoff.
C
CODE OF CONDUCT
– Our staff will proactively implement the Code of Conduct that includes the following behaviors not tolerated by the venue.
– Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.
– Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment.
– Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of language or gestures: (1) concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin, or (2) to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.
– Interference with the progress of the event.
– Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel.
– Verbal or physical harassment.
– Smoking of any kind (including vaping).
– Bringing alcoholic beverages or other prohibited items into the venue.
– Behavior that detracts from the enjoyment of fellow guests.
– Attempting to sit in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat.
– Conduct that endangers spectators or participants.
– Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons.
– Guests that do not adhere to the Code of Conduct or stadium/arena policies are subject to the following consequences: seat relocation, ejection from the facility without refund, letter of warning, and/or arrest. Students, registered student organizations, and University faculty and staff may also face University sanctions or disciplinary action. Ticket holders are responsible for the conduct of the behavior of individuals using their tickets. Ticket holders, or individuals using a ticket holder’s seats, who do not adhere to the Code of Conduct may result in the loss or revocation of the ticket holder’s tickets and future ticket purchase privileges.
D
DRONES
The possession, operation, or use of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or drone is prohibited at Vaught Hemingway Stadium without prior, written permission from Venue Management. Furthermore, persons operating a UAS on property may be subject to criminal or civil penalties by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

ENTRY SCREENING
– All bags will be checked upon entry – only clear bags (12” x 12” x 6” or smaller) are permitted.

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
Ole Miss fans are loyal, passionate, knowledgeable, and have tremendous pride in our University and their teams. Ole Miss Athletics is always focused on the very best fan experience and we are committed to providing our guests with an exciting, safe and enjoyable game day experience at all of our athletics facilities. Ole Miss always promotes responsible behavior to make the fan experience family-friendly and positive. Our expectation is that all fans will be respectful and courteous and will not engage in behavior that will not interfere with the enjoyment of the game or event by those around them. Our staff will proactively implement the Fan Code of Conduct that includes the following behaviors not tolerated by Ole Miss and the Southeastern Conference:

FIRST AID
– First Aid is located at three separate locations inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
– Northeast corner lower level
– Southeast corner lower level
– Middle concourse in Section K (Northwest corner). For immediate First Aid assistance, please notify a game day staff member.
– All gameday staff members are trained to immediately contact First Aid stations by phone if medical attention is required.

GOLF CART SHUTTLES
Ole Miss provides shuttle carts to and from several ADA Shuttle stops located around campus. These locations include 2 locations around the stadium, Paris-Yates Chapel, Tad Smith Coliseum, the south lot and a Grove stop located on University Avenue at Grove Loop. LOST AND FOUND
– Lost and found articles should be reported to the security agent at the media entrance by the elevators on the west side. Any items not picked up will be taken to the University Police Department (662-915-7234).
LACTATION STATIONS
Lactation stations are located in the Gertrude C. Ford - Ole Miss student union and the SJB Pavilion at Ole Miss. Please see the event staff at gate 33 for more information. Families in the stadium needing access to the lactation pod in the SJB Pavilion should check in with security on the west side of the stadium at Gate 33.

PARKING
Campus parking will open at 7am on gameday. All parking on campus is reserved and must have an OMAF issued parking pass. Click here for full parking map.
PAVILION
– Mamava Lactation Pods are located in the Gertrude C. Ford-Ole Miss Student Union and The SJB Pavilion at Ole Miss. Please see event staff at gate 33 for more information. Families in the stadium needing access to the lactation pod in the SJB Pavilion should check in with security on the west side of the stadium at Gate 33.
– The SJB Pavilion will open four (4) hours before and close one (1) hour after the conclusion of the game. The restaurants in the SJB Pavilion will not be open for individual sales.
POSTGAME TRAFFIC FLOW
University Police, Oxford Police Department, CTED and Mississippi State Highway Patrol will coordinate traffic to ensure safety for your trip home. Beginning in the second half of each game, most campus streets will become one way traffic in order to use all lanes of traffic to get people off campus and onto the larger city streets and state highways as quickly as possible. Once law enforcement has determined that campus has cleared safely, two-way traffic patterns will be restored. Click here for postgame traffic flow map.

– Ole Miss Athletics reserves the right to prohibit any item deemed dangerous or inhibiting the overall fan experience.

According to the rules and regulations set forth by the SEC and Ole Miss, no one may exit and re-enter Vaught-Hemingway Stadium unless he or she possesses a valid, un-scanned ticket.
RESTROOMS

The drop-off and pick-up location for rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) will be in the South Lot east of Old Taylor Road.
