Andy Williams joined the Ole Miss Athletics Department in June 2013 as the Associate Director of Financial Operations. He was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Finance in February 2016 and his main responsibilities include budgeting, account management and financial reporting for the department.
Prior to Ole Miss, Williams was the Assistant A.D. for Business Operations at the University of North Texas from 2006 to 2013. At North Texas, his primary area of responsibilities involved budget creation, sports medicine, strength & conditioning, concessions, camp accounts and the Track & Field program. Williams also tracked all incoming funds, managed the purchase card program, had several responsibilities with human resources and helped with all audits concerning the business office.
Williams began his career in athletics as an intern at Auburn University Montgomery in 2004 and was hired as the Assistant to the Athletics Director in 2005.
A native of Cullman, Alabama, Williams is married to the former Rebecca Hines of Trenton, Texas, and the couple have a son, Sawyer, and daughter, Annabelle.
