Brendan Dwyer joined Ole Miss Athletics in September of 2016 as the manager of The Pavilion at Ole Miss. He was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities in February of 2019. His main responsibilities include oversight of athletics maintenance staff, day-to-day operations of the athletic facilities and preparing venues for events.
Prior to Ole Miss, Dwyer served as the Associate Director of Event Management at the University of Georgia. During his time at Georgia, he oversaw event management for multiple sports, including soccer, cross country, track and field, and men’s and women’s basketball. He also served as the facility supervisor for Stegeman Coliseum and the Coliseum Training Facility. He additionally served on a team that oversaw all capital improvement projects. Before coming to Georgia, Dwyer served as the operations manager at American University.
A native of Silver Spring, Maryland, Dwyer earned two degrees from East Carolina University, his bachelor’s in communications and a master’s in sports management. He is married to the former Gwen Turner of Danville, Virginia.
