Katie Burke joined the Ole Miss coaching staff as the director of operations for the softball program in July 2023. In her role, Burke is responsible for the day-to-day office operations of the softball program. Her duties include assisting with the Rebels’ camps throughout the year, team travel and equipment operations.

Prior to arriving in Oxford, Burke spend four seasons as the director of operations with Texas Women’s Golf. With the Longhorns, she was a part of three NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2022 Big 12 Championship team.

While obtaining her Master’s degree, Burke spend one year as a graduate assistant with the Seminole Boosters, assisting with the annual fund, coaches’ clubs and other donor events. She also served as the assistant director of operations with Florida State’s 2018 NCAA Runner-Up beach volleyball program.

As an undergrad at Florida State, Burke got her start as a student manager with the Seminoles’ softball program. Working with the team for two seasons, she helped assist the coaching staff and guide FSU to back-to-back ACC Championships and a trip to the 2016 NCAA WCWS where they finished as a national semifinalist.

Burke, a Westport, Connecticut, native, graduated from Florida State with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Sports Management 2019.
