Keturah Cox joined Ole Miss as an assistant director, within academic counseling, in August 2026. In her role, she provides academic support for football and women’s tennis.

Cox brings nearly a decade of experience in collegiate athletics, with a professional background in academic support, student-athlete development, mentoring, and compliance.

Before joining Ole Miss, Cox served as the associate director of academic support for athletics at the University of St. Thomas from 2021 to 2026. During her time at St. Thomas, Cox played an integral role in the university’s transition from NCAA Division III to Division I and helped build and develop the athletics academic support unit. She oversaw academic support for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s soccer, track and field, women’s tennis, and volleyball. She also oversaw the athletics tutoring program and managed student workers within the academic support unit.

Prior to St. Thomas, Cox served as an academic coordinator at Georgia Tech, where she oversaw academic support services for women’s basketball, women’s tennis, and softball. She also held academic support positions at the University of South Florida, Austin Peay State University, and Coastal Carolina University.

A native of Buford, Georgia, Cox earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation and sport management with a minor in communication from Coastal Carolina University in 2017.

She earned her master's of education in leadership and student affairs from St. Thomas in 2025. Cox is also a graduate of the Professional Development Institute (PDI), class of 2024.

Cox currently resides in Oxford, with her daughter, Blaze.
