Ole Miss softball head coach Jamie Trachsel added Morgan Klaevemann as an assistant coach to the program in September 2025.
Klaevemann joins the Rebels after spending the 2025 season on staff at Texas A&M as the Director of Player Development. Klaevemann will work with a number of groups in Oxford, including offensive strategy, baserunning, outfielders, technology and recruiting.
Under Klaevemann, the Aggies went 48-11 and reached the SEC Tournament final, that was ultimately canceled due to inclement weather. The Aggies earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and earned multiple All-American and All-SEC distinctions.
Prior to her time at Texas A&M, Klaevemann spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Texas Tech under then head coach Craig Snider. Klaevemann worked primarily with the outfield and base runners while also serving as the first base coach and working with the hitters, while leading offensive scouting.
Klaeveman was critical in the development of the Red Raiders offense, helping the offense set offensive records in home runs, doubles and slugging.
Prior additional worked included a season working for the Bomber's Fastpitch as an under-14 head coach and serving as the assistant general manager at D-BAT Aggieland and the vice president of internal operations and director of scouting for High & Inside.
An accomplished softball player in her own right, Klaevemann shined as a Florida State Seminole, concluding her Seminoles career ranked inside the all-time top-10 of four different categories, including batting average (.361 – fourth), stolen bases (126 – fourth), runs (193 – fifth) and walks (123 – fifth). Klaevemann earned NFCA Second Team All-American honors and three All-ACC selections.
