Nate Yost, MEd, ATC, joined the Ole Miss Athletic Training staff in July of 2017. He currently serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Football. Prior to assisting with Football, he oversaw the Ole Miss Men’s Tennis and Cheerleading teams. He also assisted with Women’s Soccer and Baseball.
Prior to his career at Ole Miss, Yost spent the prior two years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Navarro College overseeing six NJCAA sports (Football, Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball) and a NCA competitive cheer program in Corsicana, Texas.
Yost earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree from Valdosta State University in 2013. While completing his Bachelor degree, he completed an internship with the University of Mississippi working with the Football and Track and Field teams. He then earned his Master of Education for Student Development and Leadership from Angelo State University located in San Angelo, Texas. While there he served as a Graduate Assistant covering the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Track and Field, and Football teams.
Yost is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He is Graston Certified through the Graston Technique, LLC.
A native of Moultrie, Georgia, Yost resides in Oxford with his wife Courtney and son, William.
