Randy Morgan serves as Assistant Director of Academic Enrichment at the FedEx Student-Athlete Success Center.
Along with a caseload of student-athletes, he is the coordinator for the academic tutoring program for student-athletes, managing the day-to-day operations of the tutorial program, oversees hiring and administration for tutoring staff, and serves as an instructor for EDHE 201: Career Decision Making, a bridge program course designed to support student-athletes in their academic and professional development at the University of Mississippi.
Morgan's connection to the FedEx Student-Athlete Success Center runs deep. He first joined the office in 2018 as a tutor and returned full-time in 2023 as a Learning Specialist.
Beyond his role in athletics, Morgan serves as an adjunct sociology instructor at the University of Mississippi, Holmes Community College, and other various institutions. He also contributes to the broader academic community as an editorial reviewer for the United States Sports University's academic journal.
Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Master of Arts in Sociology, and a Graduate Certificate in Intercollegiate Athletic Academic Success, all from the University of Mississippi. He is completing a Master of Science in Sport Management at Ole Miss, expected June 2026, and will pursue a Doctor of Education in Higher Education in Fall 2026, expected May 2029.
A native of Sherman, Mississippi, Morgan has called the Oxford area home since 2019. He and his wife, Taylor, are the proud parents of two children, Lorelai and Brady.
