Terrell Elliston joined the FedEx Student-Athlete Development team in October 2016 as an Academic Counselor. He is currently working with women’s golf and track and field. Elliston comes to the University of Mississippi from Savannah State University.

While at Savannah State University, he served as the Academic Advisor for men’s and women’s basketball. In that role, he was responsible for coordinating and monitoring academic activities in the Athletics Department. In addition, he coordinated and conducted educational sessions with coaches, staff and stakeholders; and performed duties to ensure institutional compliance with department, institutional, state, federal, NCAA, and MEAC guidelines.

A native of Bronx, New York. In 2010, he earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Virginia Commonwealth University where he was a member of the men’s basketball program.

Elliston and his wife, Angel, have one daughter, Heaven.
