STANFORD, Calif. - Ole lost in overtime to LSU in the quarterfinals of the inaugural WingspanBank.com/WTT National Collegiate Tennis Championships Saturdat at Taube Family Tennis Center.

LSU took a 6-1 lead when Bruna Colosio and Ana Paula Mores downed the No. 5 team in the nation Celeste Frey and Mariana Eberle 6-1 in women's doubles. The Tigers then made it 12-6 when Michal Chmela beat Rebel James Shortall in a tiebreaker 6-5(3) in men's singles.

Shortall then teamed up with Vikrant Chadha to take a 6-5(2) win over Chmela and Dan Kiernan in the men's doubles. That made it 17-12 LSU with two matches remaining.

Frey dropped a 6-2 decision in her singles match to Colosio making it 23-14 LSU, but the Rebels bounced back in the mixed doubles as Ivona Mihailova and Chadha defeated Kiernan and Mores 6-1.

Although LSU led 24-20 after the mixed doubles, the WTT rules state that play must continue until the team with the lead wins one game. LSU won the next game to clinch the match.
