TULANE POSTGAME NOTES

JaJuan Dawson moved to second on the all time receptions list with 195 receptions.

JaJuan Dawson became the all time leader in TD receptions with 26 career TD's.

JaJuan Dawson had at least 10 receptions for the third time this year.

Casey Roussel ?s 72 yd. punt tied for the sixth longest in Tulane history.

Marlon Tickles recorded his first career interception in his second career start.

Patrick Ramsey set school records in pass attempts (59) and receptions (35) in a single game.

Patrick Ramsey threw for over 300 yards for the fourth consecutive game.

John Wilson had a career high 7 receptions for 105 yards.

Jerry Godfrey played on defense for the first time in his career today.

Seth Marler kicked a career long 48 yd. field goal.

Jerry Phillips recovered his second fumble of the season.

OLE MISS POSTGAME NOTES
* Ole Miss is now 57-13-2 on Homecoming and has won seven of its last eight and 15 of its last 18 Homecoming contests. Today's game marked the sixth time the Rebels have played Tulane for Homecoming, and Ole Miss 5-1 in those games.

* Today's win gives Ole Miss its first 5-1 start since the 1990 season when the Rebels finished 9-3 and played Michigan in the Gator Bowl.

* Head Coach David Cutcliffe joins C.D. Clark and Harry J. Mehre as the only Rebel coaches to start their careers with a 6-1 record.

* With today's win, Ole Miss has won 18 straight non-conference games, starting with a 38-0 win over Tulane on Nov. 12, 1994. The last time the Rebels lost a non-conference game was against Memphis, 17-16, in Oxford back on Nov. 5, 1994.

* Ole Miss improved its all-time record against teams from Conference USA to 114-45-2.

* With 227 yards passing, Romaro Miller recorded his 11th career 200 yard passing game, tying Kent Austin's (1981-85) school record for 200-yard passing games in a career.

* With 120 yards rushing, Joe Gunn recorded his fourth 100-yard rushing game this season, and the sixth of his career. Gunn's six career 100-yard rushing games ties him with Cory Philpot (1991-92) for fourth place on the Ole Miss career 100-yard rushing games.

* Senior Al Rice recovered his second career fumble in two weeks, when he recovered the fumble in the end zone in the first quarter. Last week vs. South Carolina, Rice recovered his first career fumble and returned it 37 yards for a TD.

* Junior L.J. Taylor's 57-yard reception near the end of the second quarter was his career long.

* Reagan King's 53-yard punt was his longest of the season.

* Junior Ken Lucas recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter.

* Sophomore Anthony Sims' fumble recovery with 9:02 to go in the fourth quarter was the first of his career.

* Cory Peterson moved into sixth place on the Rebel career receptions chart with 114. Peterson moved past Buford McGee (1979-83, 112 catches) with his three receptions today.
