Ole Miss Cruises Past La.-Monroe, 76-60

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Rahim Lockhart had 18 points and 11 rebounds leading an impressive performance by Mississippi's frontcourt as the Rebels defeated Louisiana-Monroe 76-60 Sunday.
Lockhart, Marcus Hicks and Lataryl Williams combined for 48 points and 23 rebounds for Ole Miss. Lockhart made 8-of-11 shots from the floor, as Ole Miss dominated the paint shooting 54 percent.
Hicks hit three straight field goals, two from 3-point range and the final one from inside, to give the Rebels an 18-point lead over the Indians with 2:50 left in the game.
Hicks had 16 points and nine rebounds. Williams had 14 points for Ole Miss (10-1).
Maurice Bell carried the Indians (6-2) with 29 points.
ULM coach Mike Vining was trying to become the school's career leader in victories. Vining, in his 19th season at Monroe, is 332-223 and tied with Lenny Fant (1958-78) for most wins.
