OXFORD, Miss. - Coming off a 4-1 week, which included taking two-of-three from nationally ranked Alabama, the Ole Miss Rebels jumped up six spots in the latest Collegiate Baseball Top 30 poll to No. 20. The Rebels also made their first appearance in the Baseball America Top 25, checking in at No. 23, and received 26 votes in the Baseball Weekly/ESPN Top 25 Coaches poll to finish seven among "Other Receiving Votes."

"It's great to see that we're continuing to receive recognition," said third-year Head Coach Pat Harrison. "We played real well this past weekend against Alabama, now we have to continue that when we go on the road this weekend to Arkansas."

The Rebels are 30-20 on the year and 15-9 in the Southeastern Conference. Ole Miss is tied with Alabama for second-place in the SEC Western Division, two games behind first-place Arkansas at 17-7. However, the Rebels hold the tiebreaker over Alabama and would be seeded third in the SEC Tournament if the season ended today behind division leaders Arkansas and South Carolina.

Ole Miss will get an opportunity to gain ground on the Razorbacks this weekend when the Rebels travel to Fayetteville to open a three-game series with Arkansas. The Razorbacks swept three games from Mississippi State at home in Fayetteville this past weekend.

Arkansas is 32-18 on the year, ranked ninth by Collegiate Baseball, 14th by Baseball America and 18th in the coaches' poll.

Following the Arkansas-series, the Rebels will conclude their regular season with a three- game series at home against arch-rival Mississippi State, May 14-16.
