Softball Takes on No. 11 LSU

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss softball team travels to Baton Rouge, La., for two double-headers against the 11th-ranked Louisiana State Tigers this weekend.

The series opens Friday, April 2, with game one beginning at 5 p.m. and game two at 7 p.m. First pitch for game one on Saturday is set for 1 p.m. with game two beginning at 3 p.m.

The Rebels also play a double-header against Nicholls State on Sunday. Game one will start at 1 p.m. and game two at 3 p.m.

The Rebels (19-16, 3-5) are led by junior Kaci Coffee who is hitting .347 with a team-high 21 RBI. Coffee also leads Ole Miss with 11 doubles and is currently riding a seven game hit streak.

LSU currently leads the Southeastern Conference Western Divison with a 6-0 record and a 25-5 overall mark. Nicholls State is 13-31 overall and 5-10 in the Southland Conference.
